Tailgating Guidelines

• Tailgating will be allowed throughout Hurst Bean Field.
• Parking lot will open 4 hours prior to kickoff unless announced differently.
• Tailgating will be limited to your parking spot and space directly behind your vehicle into the drive lane,    but you cannot block traffic flow in the driving lane.
• RV’s will need to purchase a space in the designated motor home area.
• Use of illegal substances at Hurst Bean Field is strictly prohibited. Violation of this is grounds for permanent removal from the lot (not to mention arrest).
• Barbeques-in-tow and trailers-in-tow must purchase two parking spots.
• Open flames are only allowed in a proper container.
• Guests must extinguish their flames prior to leaving for the game.
• Please use the provided charcoal waste receptacles to dispose of your charcoal.
• Fire Extinguisher: Minimum rating of 2-A:10-B:C; must have full charge and be accessible at all times.
• Charcoal: Match Light or Quick Light is the recommended charcoal; provide a metal pan under BBQ pit to prevent ashes from falling onto the ground; deposit used coals in the bin provided; do not throw trash in these containers.
• Propane: Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks; drippings from gas grills must not fall onto the ground.
• Trash: Keep your area clear of trash; avoid allowing trash to accumulate around BBQ pits; deposit trash into dumpsters, not ash bins. A trash cart will cruise through the tailgating area to assist with trash bag disposal.
• Generators: Use of generators are allowed, however fuel must be stored in approved metal safety cans with spring loaded lid and flashback guard.
• If you aren’t serving Beans at your tailgate, you may be subject to removal from the Bean Field!
